Spring Fire Department Rescues Female After Getting Stuck In Chimney

Spring, Texas – February 26th, 2016: At approximately 5:15am, Friday morning, emergency responders received a 9-1-1 call from a 20 year old female who stated she was stuck inside a chimney.

Sources tell us that the female did not know the address of the home, only that the house was white in color with several cars parked around it.

Dispatchers from the 9-1-1 emergency center used cell phone GPS technology to pinpoint her exact location.

Spring Fire Department, Cypress Creek EMS & the Harris County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the 4400 block of Spring Stuebner.

Crews arrived on the scene and dismantled the chimney to free her. She was evaluated for injuries and taken into custody.

The suspect, identified as Lauren Fox (20) has been charged with criminal trespass of habitation.
