Firefighter Recovering in Hospital after Being Electrocuted on Emergency Call

HOUSTON, TEXAS – A Captain with the Little York firefighter is recovering in the hospital after being electrocuted on the scene of an emergency call Thursday.

This scene took place near Aldine Mail Route and W Hardy in Northwest Harris County.

The firefighter was transported via ground ambulance as helicopters were not able to fly due to weather.

The Little York Fire Department posted the following statement to Facebook:

“A Little York Captain was injured on-scene of a medical call today. The Captain is talking and is in stable condition. The incident is under investigation by the Harris County Fire Marshal Office.”
