Spring, Texas – July 15th, 2017  | Editors Note: Tuesday is your chance to be heard. METRO will be in Spring on Tuesday, July 18th for a community meeting at the Klein Multipurpose Center. The meeting begins promptly at 6:00 PM and is scheduled to run until 8:00 PM.

According to promotional materials released by METRO, the meeting is centered around your voice and “What’s next for METRO… It’s up to you.”

“It’s imperative that all Spring residents attend this meeting” said Zach Karrenbrock, President of Spring Happenings.

At a Public Safety Forum last month hosted by the Northwest Harris County Chamber of Commerce, newly elected District Attorney, Kim Ogg stated that robberies and burglaries are a growing statistic in the county.

“Implementing METRO bus service in Spring will give criminals an easy way in and out of our community” said Karrenbrock. “I believe some type of public transportation is needed, especially since Spring is growing at such a rapid rate, however, a METRO bus line is NOT the answer!”
